Color Splash: paint the arena

Color Splash is a free painting game for 1 to 4 players that runs right in your browser. Your Podepuck leaves a trail of paint in your color wherever it goes. Cover more of the floor than your rivals before the 45 second clock runs out to win the round. The first player to win 3 rounds takes the match.

It is a race, a brawl and a turf war at once: you can paint over your rivals' color to steal their floor, and bump them to stop their brush. A whole match lasts about 3 minutes.

How to play

Move to paint

Steer with WASD or the arrow keys, the left stick of a game controller, or the joystick on a phone or tablet. Every bit of floor you cross turns your color.

Splash

Hold the action button (Space, Enter, the A button or SPLASH on the touch screen) and let go: your Podepuck splashes a circle of paint and dashes forward. Hold longer for a bigger splash.

Bump your rivals

A Podepuck that gets bumped is stunned for a moment and paints nothing. The arena has walls, so nobody falls off: you just bounce.

Tips to win

  • Paint over your rivals' color: it takes floor from them and gives it to you at the same time.
  • Don't keep crossing your own paint; bare floor and your rivals' color are where the points are.
  • Save a big splash for the last seconds, when the clock turns red.
  • Bump the leader to stop their brush when the round is close.
